Fire Watch services in Long Beach
Long Beach has everything from century-old apartment buildings near Alamitos Beach to new towers downtown and busy warehouses in the port and West Long Beach industrial area. When one of these properties has a fire alarm outage, a sprinkler impairment or hot work going on, the Long Beach Fire Department may require a fire watch before people can stay in the building. APS is based next door in Seal Beach, so fire watch in Long Beach is one of the services we can start the fastest, often the same day you call.
Our Long Beach fire watch guards are trained to patrol the entire property on a fixed schedule, including stairwells, garages, mechanical rooms and roofs where allowed. They keep a fire watch log the fire department can review, keep exits clear, check that extinguishers are in place and call 911 right away if they find smoke or fire. GPS check-ins and time-stamped photos back up every round, and you get a Daily Activity Report after every shift.
